Default Power Lock problems

I was about to buy a 00 Lincoln Navigator until I realized after trying to lock and unlock the doors with the door mounted switch only one door unlocked. We tried at least 20 times to get at least the driver door and it might have come up once but the other times but it just moved a hair each time we tried the unlock but you can hear the sound of the actuators. I have heard this is common on Fords but not sure what is needed. The owner said that the truck sat for a few months and thought that this had something to do with it.

What parts are needed to fix the power locks when you can hear the noise of the actuators but the lock itself doesn't move. How much would a stealership charge or is it a DIY job?

It sounds to me like it may be the actuator itself. Both of mine went at the same time in my 04 FX4. They arent too bad to change, and should only cost between 30 and 60 bucks. Hope this helps.
