I recently purchased this 97 F150 that sat for almost 3 years, it needed some TLC which I did, its currently running great. Yesterday I tried to open the 3rd door and it appears to be jammed or maybe the latch is broke, but it wont open, can anyone help with this issue. I got this truck for $800 and i'm sure it was a steal of a deal, thanks

No you're not the only one. This is a very common issue wit 97-03 scabs. I think there is an article on how to fix it at f150online.com. Its just a cable for the latch. You have to take the door panel off from the inside, and either replace or tighten the slack in the cable with a ziptie (or rig it some other way). I have an 01 and it happened to both of my rear doors within the same week. lol
