Default Please help

I have a 2001 ford f150 4.6 4 Dr super crew 300,000 miles it was running rich so I replaced sparkplugs, fuel injectors, intake manifold gaskets, knock sensor, cylinder head temp sensor and pigtail on one of the coils because it was broke and when I started it up it was backfiring threw the intake manifold so I took coils back off and checked all the plugs to make sure they was in there rite and put a new fuel pump in because I had no pressure when I checked on the Schrader valve and also a fuel filter and egr I tried to fire it again and it started up but cut rite back off I've double checked everything is plugged in I don't know what it could be causing it to do this and now when I turn the key over the abs module makes a sound can somebody please help. I also changed upper and lower radiator hose and power steering hose

Holy lord, that was hard to read. I'm sorry to have to say that.

Anyway, back to helping you.

Lets start simple. The original issue was just running rich with no other symptoms?

My ears are ringing. Ammo is expensive, so put down the shotgun!

Do you have any codes?
Do you currently have fuel pressure at schrader valve?
Does it fire if you spray it with fluid?

Please confirm you have the spark plug wires (I believe this model still had wires) connected to the proper spark plug. Backfiring through the intake should not have begun with the work you performed. You also need to clean the MAF to clear up your rich condition.

I had a 2001 4.6L and it was COP. I think it was 1999 or 2000 they went to COP

Sorry I did not mean to post multiple threads after I made the post my phone was in my pocket and I guess that's how that happened.Yes the original problem was running Rich and i have COP the throttle body is spotless along with the intake manifold I put all new motorcraft platinum plugs in.When I took the upper intake off I also took the lower off as well, somebody told me I could spray brake cleaner in the lower intake would that have messed up the intake manifold tuning valve?

Did you have a CEL before you got the parts cannon all loaded up, or did you just notice a substantial fuel economy decrease which lead you to believe it was running rich?

Might need to just start from here and see how far you can get. The engine started then died immediately.

Describe what happens, exactly, when you turn the key ON. Then describe, exactly, what happens when you turn the key to Start. It's a 2001 so it probably has PATS. Watch the theft light in the cluster to be sure that it turns off when you turn the key ON.

Be clear in the descriptions. It's all that the people out here have to work with.
