Default obd

on my 01 f150 when i plug in a scaner i get no disply at all anyone have this problem is it maybe a power fuse ?

Have to ask the obvious - does you scanner require a battery and if so, is it good?

^^^this^^^ this fuse also provides power to the OBDII port.
