Default Need shocks

Time to put some shocks on my '99. Any advice on brand or anything that will help

I want to do same to mine. I'll be checking out Rancho and Bilstein, but have read a few negative reports. Keep searching.

Ranchos are junk and Bilsteins are nice but if you don't mind spending a little extra look at the Fox ones they always make great shocks.

I'm not speaking from experience, but I've been looking through the forums a lot lately because I too am going to replace the shocks on my 97. Most people seem to like:

most shocks by Monroe

and especially

KYB Monomax

Make sure you get a mono tube, the twin tubes don't work as well.

Put rancho 5000 on my truck they ride nice , I haves 03 f150

Good luck with them if the truck sees any salt in the winter. If your in the south I don't think they will rust up as bad.
