Default Need Help With Oil Drain Plug

Well today when i tried to change my oil i started to TRY and loosen the drain plug and all it did was spin... didnt loosen any at all and you cant tighten it. it doesnt leak so i can still drive it. i was wondering what yall would do?? ive been told to try and pry it up with a flat head while tryin to loosen it but if it did work and i got it off what would happen if the oil pan is stripped and couldnt get a new plug in i would be SOL and would have to get my truck towed somewhere to get a new drain pan.. i allready priced it and to get it replaced would run $450 out the door.. or i could try and get the old one off and pray that the bolt was the only thing that got stripped and then i would have saved myself $448. so let me know yall
