have 2002 f-150 will start today not tomorrow. fuel pump is good . its not getting spark all the time and plugs are new and wires its a 5.4 liter. and when u try to start it when it acts up the doors lock on there own so whats the problem

 

All those troubles must cause the PCM to generate error codes. Do a scan of the system and see what codes a pending.

 

Well there's your problem right there 5.4's don't have "wires"

but seriously, when there isnt spark is it just 1 cylinder or all 8?

 

when it wont start it has no spark period to any plugs. its like something is shutting it down

 

sounds like a possible short/broken wire. next time it doesnt start try wiggling the wire harness and try again. would be best to have someone help so you can pin point where you wiggled made it work

 

cam sensor was one thought

 

anybody? gotta get this thing running

 

first off posting every hour is a good way to annoy people

secondly it would not be a cam sensor, I had one go bad and it would start just barely stumble a bit cruising

 

guess ill just sell it and get a dodge for cant figure it out after a few thousand maybe dodge will have better service

 

it doesnt shoot a code and ford cant find the problem what is it. im stumped starts runs great. wont start cranks great but has no spark at all. cant start it with eather or anything what can it be
