Default LED Tail lights - now truck thinks bulb is burned out

I tried searching the forums for this but did not find any other questions.

This past weekend I put LED tail lights in my 2013 Lariat. All of the blubs (leds) are working great.

However, when I put on my blinker, the blinker is going really fast, like when the truck signals you that a blub is burned out.

Is this common when you put in LED's or do I maybe have another issue?

Some have had luck using Forscan to change that. I used resistors made for the purpose.

One for each light bulb replaced by an led. Be sure to secure them to sheet metal so the cooling fins can dissipate heat properly.
