Safe mode - 04 f150 fx4
Hello everyone, new here and in need of some help, my FX4 went into safe mode and everything I found on the web says it has to do with the throttle body, so I changed out the TPS &THROTTLE body motor, it fixed it for about a month. Truck ran really strong for about a month then it happened again, safe mode so I got replacement on both parts and this time when I went to let the system cycle thru to relearn the throttle body just clicks it did not cycle thru like it did before. I have not been able to get it out of safe mode.
I thought maybe the accelerator pedal sensor so I changed it out and no difference.
please help I'm at a loss and don't have the money to get it towed in to the shop. Thanks Jason

All the codes that I had been getting all came back to the throttle body which is why I changed out the TPS & THROTTLE body motor. That fixed the problem for about a month. Then after going off road it started mis shifting on the way home then went into failsafe mode with no gas pedal at all.
That's when I checked for amps going to the TPS which was good at 5amps. I changed both out again but the throttle body motor just clicks when I got back thru the learn procedure.

hello, I got several codes;
P2104- Throttle actuator control system - forced idle
P2112- Throttle actuatorcontrol system - stuck closed
P1000 - power train
P2110- forced limited RPM
P2100
P2107
Any advice would be great.
