Leaking Trans.
I have 2009 F150 super crew.
4.6 liter 3 valve engine.
Had the trans flushed at 33,337 miles by the dealer.
I now have 46,414 miles on it and the next scheduled
trans flush is at 60,000 miles.
Had a puddle of trans fluid under the truck.
It looks like it's leaking at the pan.
I'm under warranty 5 yrs. 60,000 miles until may 2014.
My question is would this be a warranty issue?
Might be a bad gasket installed, but wouldn't that be on the dealer?
Only put 13,000 miles on the truck since the service was done.
There is no dipstick so there is no way of knowing how much fluid i lost.
I am afraid to drive it for fear of causing any damage.

If it's leaking you need to get it in regardless. Since you had it serviced I'm guessing you wouldn't attempt a pan fix on your own. If it's under a bumper to bumper warranty and you had it serviced at a dealer how would it not be a warranty condition?
How much fluid have you lost....estimated. Still leaking or did it stop?
As for a dipstick, there is one but on the underside of the vehicle on the trans under a hex nut. Or that is the case for the '13 six speed.
Search the web for the procedure.

I'm not sure why you had the trans serviced so soon, unless you have been operating it under severe conditions. 60 K miles is what I've always done for the first service and I think your owners manual says 100K is the factory recommendation for the first service. If you had the dealer service it and your warranty is still good, get it back to them and have them fix it for free. A major leak would be a puddle 18 to 24 inches, indicating a loss of about a quart of fluid. Anything less than that is a minor leak so you should be fine driving it back to the dealer. Do not add fluid if you're not sure of the amount of loss. Overfill is worse than a little low.
I was told by the dealer to have serviced at 30,000 miles. The bumper to bumper is up but still have the drivetrain warranty. Having it towed to the dealer Thursday under the roadside assistance warranty.
That sounds like the right move. Just for fun you might look at the recommended service intervals in your owners manual or online. As long as you don't have to pay for it have it done. Good luck

Thanks Marc just annoyed by the situation. Just got home 2 weeks ago from a 700 mile round trip Deer hunt. Thank god it didn't happen then.
