Default how are horns wired?

i just got a low horn out of a lexus ls400 and went to hook it up to my truck. well i hooked it up the same way the old one was hooked up and when i want to test if it worked i blew the fuse under the hood so i put another in and blew that one so now i put a 30 in instead of a 20 and it doesnt blow but the the horns wont sound when hooked up to the truck. so idk how exactly the horns are wired or how i could have messed this up so if any1 knows anything or has suggestions thatd b sweet

Hook the battery positive directly to the horn positive and see if it will sound.

You will need to hook up a relay then to make it work.
