Default HELP - Tail Lights not working

Brake lights, running lights, blinkers not working. Originally thought it was because of the 7pin wiring harness I installed about 6 months ago, but all pins on there are working fine. License plate light also working fine.

I disconnected all the wiring connections underneath and tested with a volt meter, and I can see the power coming in steady with running lights on, and the volts flashing with the blinkers on, but I’m not an expert so maybe I’m seeing it wrong.

Seems like everything is getting power, so I’m thinking it is probably a ground issue.

Anybody have this issue before, or have any recommendations on how to find out where the issue is coming from?

Have you done any lighting mods or anything lately? Checked for any codes using FORSCAN?

I’ve replaced headlights and fog lights for led, and I also used forscan to turn on Bambi mode and the mode that keeps fog lights on even after turning ignition on/off. I’ve had these on for a while now so didn’t think it was that, also haven’t tried reverting back to stock or checking forscan for codes.

Check for FORSCAN codes. If a code comes up, the BCM may disable that circuit until the problem is fixed or the code is cleared. Record any codes you find and post them here. Clear them if you can with FORSCAN and see if it doesn't restore functionality.

I will go check on that now, although don’t you think I wouldn’t have been reading power going to the wiring harness if the circuit was disabled?

Forscan is reading fault codes for “circuit short to battery or open” for both rear turn indicators, rear park lamps, and both rear stop/turn auxiliary lamps. Could this also be related to disabling auto start/stop? Forgot to mention that one but I heard it might mess with the battery system

Try clearing the codes with FORSCAN and cycle off / on your ignition see if it doesn't fix your brake lights.
