I recently got my spark plugs changed. And after that was done, my truck won't accelerate pass 10mph , can someone tell me what's wrong ? Please!

 

Is it spluttering, coughing, anything? Does it fire and idle fine?

 

Year and engine as well would be helpful.

 

It's an 2005 XLT 5.4 Triton V8

& not really, I feel like it's coughing, but I feel it shaking not much, but a little. But as soon as I get on the road , it just won't accelerate, nothing, even if I press the gas pedal all the way down.

Check your coils make sure their tight on your plugs, what plugs did you use? Motorcraft 515's?

 

I did check & they are tight & yes i did i bought those.

 

You might need a new coil or several, their touchy and prone to failure.
Any codes?
