help ac noise

Default help ac noise

I just purchased a 2010 fx2 sport with 14k miles with the ac on the compressor makes a ticking noise that changeswith rpm and the engine idles rough any thoughts thanks

Ew hate that noise. Yep ganna have to get an compressor fairly soon more than likely.

The ac works fine the compressor is just noisy as hell and the e gine idles rough wben the ac is on

Im sure it works fine now, thats why i said fairly soon lol. Of course yours is a newer truck than my f150 is, but same symptoms and the problem was the compressor

With mine it didnt have a good cold start, and made an embarrassing clicking sort of noise that was very noticeable
