Default Hardened grease problem

Ok kids, hope you have a better solution that I have used in the past.
Went to grease the Ball Joints, one grease fitting had hardened grease in it. I know the grease inlet on the Ball Joint is the same way. I use to load it with penetrating oil and keep digging it out until I was able to add grease. This time the fitting access in inaccessible.

Anyone have a better idea?

Thanks...

No, the problem is since the grease inside the grease fitting was hardened, the grease inside the top of the Ball Joint is as well, only have the threaded fitting hole to access the problem.

sorry wasn,t paying attention,I thought you were greasing universals lol, paint or plasticoat will work best though, well if you unhook it and take the rubber off you could heat it with a propane tourch a little and pump grease in it right away

When you install the new fitting and begin forcing grease into it, it will push the old out around the edges of the boot. That's how it's designed to work, the new goes in, the old comes out and makes a seal that dirt can't re-enter.
