I have a an 05 F-150 and was wondering how much it would cost me to have a 6" lift put on it. I already have a 3" body lift that the previous owner put on but I'm looking for something a bit bigger. Thanks

 

I had a 3" rough country installed on my 93 F-150 last April it cost around $1100.for the install plus the lift was around $380.. on Ebay there's alot of drilling holes and remounting brackets on the frame, make sure you get a reptable shop. Lot of work to it, and you body lift kit is an accident waiting to happen, if you have a serious collision your upper body will shear the over length bolts...Becareful

 

is it 2wd or 4wd? a few years ago i also put a 3 inch lift on my 93 f150 but chose to do it my self and as round said there is alot of brackets to move. i also really hate taking rivits off lol.

 

It's a 4wd an I don't think the previous owner was smart enough to know about the body lift because I've noticed all sorts of short cuts they did modifying the truck

 

I may not be to smart but with 30 years of offroading and many years of having a good friend with a 4x4 shop, I seen what trucks and jeeps look like after a serious accidents with body lifts, so do as you wish, I'm sure I have underware older and with more sense than you.
