Does your vehicle fall in the TSB date range for misfire. Mine was, melted plug in cylinder. Dealership had to replace cylinder heads. Took a week and a half, but Ford paid for rental vehicle.

The OP's truck does fall w/in the TSB date. My personal hypothesize is that his issue has/had nothing to do with the tune but rather is attributed to the TSB manufacturing defect.

How many thousands of people run aftermarket tunes? How much actual backlash from Ford/GM/Chrysler is there? Pretty much proves your point.

I don’t see this as a Ford warranty issue. If anything it should be a problem that the tuner manufacturer should resolve. It’s their tuner that likely caused the damage. Anyone installing a tuner should accept that by doing so voids the warranty.
