I have a 1987 f150 xlt 4x4, it sat for a little over a year, I replaced the battery cranked it up and drove to store and put gas in it, on the way back home it started losing power.Later tryed to start and it would run for a few seconds and cut back off.Talked to a mechanic friend and he said the gas went bad and clogged injectors.

I am in the process of trying to take off air intake to clean and rebuild injectors, I can't get the upper intake off.Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
