Default Engine/Electrical troubles

Driving home last night my lights/instrument panel-all started going crazy. Truck began running rough then finally quit. Turned off headlights and started and ran again but after a few minutes quit again. Jumped off and ran for another 10 minutes then quit. What do you think?

Those symptoms scream loose battery connections or bad battery.

Default Truck running bad

That's what my truck did when my alternator went out. Battery died then the truck died. Replaced my alternator, charged my battery and I was good to go.
