So I just purchased a new compustar alarm and remote start for my 2000 F150 love it so far...

I am having trouble with the door locks. They locks will unlock all the time but wont lock at all. Had replaced the driverside actuator and the whole thing worked flawlessly for bout a week then worked when it wanted to now just unlocks.

Could it be the RAP module? Or the relays behind the dash?

Thanks for any info on this....

I had a similar issue. I found the relays that connect the door lock wires to the alarm device were faulty. I replaced them and glued on a flange so they would not rest on the floor in the kick pan. With the new relays (pulled from a junker mustang) the power locks work fine.

However now the passenger side lock is reversed. So pressing the lock button there unlocks it.
