Recently my dome light and door locks won't turn off or lock when I put the truck in gear, sometimes it will take two to three minutes to lock and lights go dark. Also, occasionally when I shut the truck off and get out, the lights will stay on for longer than normal time. At times, I can get the lights to shut off when I manually lock the doors with the rocker switch.

Today it started beeping when I hit the brakes and the driver's side door lock goes to the unlock position or I hear the lock solenoid click.

Any ideas and if so how hard to fix?

Check your battery saver / interior lamp relay, it sounds as if it may be sticking. they are cheap. Does your door ajar lamp work when you first start the truck? if so, does it flash on/off when you are driving, or does it stay on. The system will not turn off the lights if the doors are open, and the locks will not lock if the doors are open.
