Do i need to be programed?

Default Do i need to be programed?

My old cluster panel went out on my 2001 F150 and i hvae been told that even though i have a new one it has 2 be programed into it by the ford dealership....does anybody have advice??

yes, it does need to be (pmi) u will also need two ignition keys the pats module is incorperated into the cluster

Default One more question...

ok cool thank you for your help its just gonna be a pain paying that 150 fee for it......you would also happen 2 know about brake lights would ya? My bulbs are just fine and my cab break light works as well....but both of my rear brake lights wont come on....signals and running lights work just not the brakes

If the 3rd brake light is working and the bulbs are good U probably have a open feed or ground on the brake light circuit research for a wiring diagram trace your wiring good luck..
