Default Diagnosing my Fordf150

Hello everyone, I got a 2001 Ford F-150. It’s been sitting in my garage for almost a year now since I was deployed. I recently came back and have attempted to get it up and running. It cranks but won’t start...when you turn on the ignition to the on position...you hear a cranking sound. I read online that you can hear the fuel going to the regulator but it doesn’t sound like the videos I’ve watched. If anyone can help me, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Did you empty the gas tank before you left? The fuel could be gummied up and varnished. You may need to empty the tank, flush the fuel lines and replace the pump if that's the case.

I agree with fuel varnish, but it's probably just the injectors that are clogged.
