only one I see is a lever that runs the floor vents I believe?

OK, I had it backwards. Is it possible something got knocked out of position when it was installed? I've also read in another post about a piece breaking? I haven't replaced mine yet. I'm gonna need help because of back issues. Not able to get down there to replace mine.

that almost what I was thinking but even with actuator off and my manual moving the gears I still can’t get it to go to defrost. So I’m stumped. If you do it save your time and take off the gas pedal. 3 13mm bolts.

I took my DSLR camera out to the truck to take a couple of pics of the actuator by my gas pedal. This is the position that the lever is currently at. I'm only getting air from my dash vents. I don't know if it will be of any help if you want to try to reposition it. But if you can't get it to move manually, there may be a different problem. Did you replace the actuator with an OEM unit? And I just remembered, did you reset the system by pulling the fuse? Are you aware of that?

UPDATE: mode door actuator replaced with FoMoCo part and everything is working smoothly. I guess I got a new blend door actuator out of this fiasco. Thanks for the tips, everyone. Excuse the messy truck, I bought it from someone who let it sit for a few years and I haven’t gotten around to giving it a good clean.

Default Air conditioner is not blowing

2009 ford f150 four-door lariat dual control I recently changed the actuators in the dash all of them. Apparently I installed one incorrectly. It is clicking again. Everything was still working at first but now the air conditioner will not blow air out of the vent is my stepmother’s truck she’s widowed, so I’m trying to save her some money. If anyone can help me out on what to do is it the actuator that clicking or do I need to look elsewhere? That is a deep dig in the Dash board don’t want to dig into It if it’s not necessary please can someone help

mode door actuator. Near gas pedal. Much easier dig than the blend door actuator.
