When engaging brake to shift in to gear . It does not want to release at times and is getting worse, and yes my brake lights work!!!!

 

What year truck? What isn't releasing, the brakes or the shift lever?

 

2007 .
want go in to gear when i press the peddle down.
Or i guess you can say release the shifter ?
I changed out the brake light solnoid
Awhile back , and i have brake lights?
Someone said i have to pull my Steering
Wheel ?? Lol sorta in a bind !
