clunking sound

Default clunking sound

everytime i turn either left or right or go over the smallest bump i hear a very loud clunk and snapping sound coming from my front end i have no idea what the hell it is

nope thats not it i looked its like a clicking clunking sound everytime i go over a bump or turn left or right

and it only happens once meaning like it clicks or clunks just once not like click click click ya no what i mean

Possibly ball joints? Check for a broken coil spring too.. Just found my front drivers spring was broken...

was the same thing happening to you and i have brand new lower ball joints so i no that aint the problem

Maybe the ball joints were installed improperly or not torqued correctly? Just throwing out some ideas. I'm in the process of replacing my ball joints right now, and I can tell you the ones in my truck were installed improperly. They weren't pressed in far enough, and didn't put the retaining clip on them..

Yes to the front end links sway bar bushings tie rods/ ball joints ect. Simple front end check should identify the problem.
