Default Clear/Resetting Codes - P0130

Help -

How do I stop the intermittent, but constant beeping that comes with the check engine light?

Auto Zone gave me the code but I won't be able to get it repaired for a week.

I need to use the truck (2010 King Ranch) and the beeping is driving me up the wall. Is there some sequence of turning the key on/off, opening closing the door that will clear the code?

Thanks for any help.....

I didn't know the newer ones beeped, that would suck. I didn't look up the code but some can't be cleared until it's fixed, some can and takes a few cycles to come back. I'd get a code reader if I didn't have one to diagnose and clear problems. I spent about $25 on a dongle and software, Torque Pro.

Code P0130 is for oxygen sensor - gotta be a way to stop the beeping or clear the code 'til I get time to fix the sensor

Take it back to Auto Zone and have them clear the code.

Depending upon location, some auto parts stores will refuse to "clear" a code - just read them.

Buy a cheap OBDII reader and clear it yourself. You might just find it useful for reading codes in the future.

Or look into the FORScan thread and get the device and download the free software and you can read/clear codes yourself.

or just disconnect the battery for a few and re-connect.. but, the DTC will most likely return until you replace bank1 sensor1.

They won't even read it here so I got my own.
