Talking Ceramic Brake Pads

Hi all.
I want to go ceramic, but I can't find any good product reviews. Many of the articles I've read say that all the ceramics are created different but that's as far as it goes.
Any recommendations?
Thanx

Bendix or Wagner are the brands I use.

I wouldn't go with a full ceramic pad, you could warp your rotors easily.

exactly, ceramic compounds do a very good job of shedding heat....that heat goes to the caliper and rotor.

Talking I have too much time on my hands

From everything I've been reading the ceramics actually wick the heat away from the rotor. Also, ceramic doesn't transfer heat supposedly. And because of this, there's little chance of warpage and minimal brake fade.

It's explained much better in 1 of the many articles I've read:

I put Morse Ceramic pads on the front of my 98 f150 2wd and i love them. Much quieter and much shorter stopping distance. Up next i am going with the baer decella rotors (they are cross drilled and slotted) i'll let you know how i loke them.

I've read that the slots chew up the pads faster. Also, supposedly, the drilled holes shouldn't be too large to avoid impacting structure. 3/16" is supposed to be the best compromise.

from personal experience in the auto aftermarket I was always told that ceramic pads are great except for the fact that they are harder than your regular pads... thus, they will tend to wear rotors a little faster... and now that most rotors are made in china they seem to warp faster.. But in all seriousness I had several accounts use nothing but ceramics as long as there was a part # for the particular car and had no complaints of sqealing or squeaking.. Advance auto sells a brand that comes in a brownish or tan colores box at around 48 or 50 bux...
