I broke my truck key yesterday trying to use it to cut a zip tie at the airport. Will I have to replace the entire remote and key or can the key part just be fixed? What is the cost?

 

You may be screwed if you only have one good key cause you need TWO keys to program a 3rd. GOOD locksmith or the dealer. Buy the key on ebay IF not in a hurry. Expensive at the dealer. Once completed be sure to have a spare cut (Lowes, Home Depot or locksmith) and programmed (by you) for keys broken by zip ties!

Quick question can that key be made for the 04-08 model?

 

I still have the original 2nd key, but what you are saying is the metal key part cant be replaced that I have to get a whole new remote and key?
