Default trailer lights not working

Hello all. I have a 2011 F-150 33k miles. Crewcab Lariait with towing package. Extended box 6'. I bought a new Floe snowmobile trailer and with the flat 4 connection I can't keep the runnning lights on the trailer working. Had it in the shop and they changed the fuse #67 but it keeps blowing. When I initially hook up the trailer the lights work but seem very bright. Then nothing. Brake lights and turn signals work however. I hooked it up to a bubbies F-350 and the running lights worked but not so bright. Like normal running lights should. Dealer can't seem to figure it out. Has anyone else experienced this? If so or have some ideas please let me know. Wits end. Thanks, Dave

I would check inside the 7-wire connector and make sure the 12 volt trailer charge feed is not crossing over and hitting the running lights. To do a quick test, pull the charge line relay in the underhood box. I am traveling right now (away from an f150 manual) but I think it is position 9 (that is either the relay or the fuse, pull either one and see what happens.

I think in my 05 that relay is in the fuse panel behind the front passenger outside foot well.
