Brake pedal removal
Have a 2010 f150 XLT with a 5.4....the brake booster is bad and the only trouble I’m having is getting the brake pedal detached from that rod. It looks like it has a push pin holding it in

Push the ring so the pin turns sideways in the hole, and the catch turns off to the side of the pedal peg. Then push/pull the pin out of the peg, and slide the booster pushrod off the peg. PAY ATTENTION to how the brake switch & spacers are installed on the peg so you can put them back the same way.
