Blown Spark Plug
I have a 2010 F-150 XL 4.6 2V that blew a spark plug out of the head. I purchased the Calvan 2V Spark Plug Repair Kit. I have been trying to drill this out for two days now and it does not seem to be drilling I feel like its drilled some of it but what am I doing wrong?

I just did a Google and see that 2V and 3V crossed over in 2010, maybe (it's the internet). Are you sure it's a 2V? Don't know if it really matters.

Also, which Calvan kit? Post the part number.

Just trying to help. My first thought when I saw your post was "what, exactly, are you doing?". All you've said is "drilling". "I drilled, it's not working".
I would add some detail about the various tools and bits and procedures. Describe the process you used. Did you follow the Cal-Van instructions precisely?
Good luck.

What happens when you try to move on to the next step? Are you not getting shavings?
Did you buy a new kit or a used kit?

Did the whole plug blow out or did the plug blow apart leaving part of itself still in the head?
I suspect the latter and that you need to extract the base of the plug from the threads in the head instead of drilling on it.

Your pictures seem to show the threaded portion of the spark plug in the hole. ProjectSHO89 has highlighted that the threaded portion maybe in the hole. The drill supplied with your kit is more of a reamer vs drill bit (no point on end) and is likely riding on the remaining portion of the spark that is in the hole. Using care not to loose the tool use a magnet and confirm steel remains in hole.
