Default Bilstein Shock Install

I opened my box of shocks last night and noticed that I might be missing a part. Several tutorials that I've been reading show there should be a piece that fits into the lower front shock that attaches to the lower control arm mounts. My shocks do not have these. Am I missing them, or can I use the ones from the old shocks? Thanks. I have 2000 4x4 F150 SCab.

w/o out a picture can't be sure. Sounds like you're talking about a bolt like part that attaches to the control arm. The shock eyelet slides over it (stud) and retains the shock with a washer and nut. This is a reusable part. Depending on the supplier or Bilstein they didn't always supply a new one w/ the new shock.

Yup reuse the old shock bushings or you can purchase a few from the parts store.
