Default Back up camera problems

I have a 2011 FX4, and the backup camera no longer works. When I shift into reverse, the screen on the rear view camera shows up blue for a few seconds, then goes away. Wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and knows of a fix?

Cheers

Default Camera and wiring help

Same thing here and here's what I've done so far...(to no avail)
2011 FX4, SCREW, 5.0.
Last week right after the car wash, the reverse camera screen was black for a second, (could still see the "zoom" tab) then it went back to the home screen with an error message that said no signal from the camera. And has not worked since then. The next day I bought a complete camera kit from Camera Source, Flex Plug N Play camera, housing, and badge for my truck. Put it in, plugged everything in and still nothing. Since then I have cleaned all the connectors, including the old camera as well and still nothing. Oh yeah, fuses are good too. So what I am thinking the problem is from where the camera plugs into the pigtail to the front of the truck somewhere... It's very frustrating as we've just bought a horse trailer this week and my wife will be using the truck more often. I am open to any and all suggestions, with the exception of the standard "JUST USE YOUR MIRRORS " comments. Thanks again for any help.

I am having the same issue with my back up camera, i have replaced the camera and checked all connections. Is there a way to test the display inside the truck to make sure that is good. The idea that i have come up with is buying a display and try plugging it in and see if it fixes it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Mine flickers and go's crazy of and on switches to negative ( backwards) and sometimes it works fine
I'm thinking there is a bad wiring were the tailgate pivots from opening and closing all the time and the coaxial wire is failing

ok i fixed my camera issue. I replaced the wiring that goes through the tailgate to under the truck bed. That is what fixed my issue. $23.00 on eBay.

I'm having a problem with my back up camera as well on my 2011 F150 Lariat, My camera works perfect sometimes, then flickers on and off like crazy, or it will show the image backwards, I haven't figured out what it is, I've Pulled the short harness out of the tailgate and rang out all the wires in it and I have good continuity point to point and no short circuits, Where else would i look?
