Default Back Brake Light is Out

My left back brake light went out cause my blinker to flicker in the front and completely out in the back. I am curious if it may be a fuse and how I can find out which specific fuse it is, like the number or something. Also if it is a fuse where would I be able to pick one up? I appreciate any help! Thanks in advanced.

This is due to your brake light and blinker is the same bulb. Just put in a new bulb and your good to go.

The entire system is protected by the same fuse, Zeon is correct, go the bulb that doesn't work, replace bulb as first and cheapest step. You will porbably have to open tail gate to access the screws, then pull lens assy aft to disengage the metal retainers from body. Will find two or three bulbs, replace the bulb that is oposite brake lens.

the screws are a 5/16 socket if i remember right. most likely thats it. if not there is a conncetion thing in your sterring colum that has gone bad. this was what mine was. had the dealer fix it. but its more than likely your bulb.

Hey tehtmb, if replacing the bulb does not work, check the ground on the rear light, that will sometimes cause that problem too!!

Happy motoring Billabong
