I have a 2005 F-150, The automatic headlights do not work. I changed the headlight switch thinking that might be the problem still no luck. Any suggestions ?

Thanks

On your headlight switch, you will have 3 positions (Off, Parking and On) if they are not equipped. If it does have them, it will have 4. (Auto, Off, Parking and On).

Sorry to ask the dumb question, but you have the switch turned all the way to the left, right? I only ask cause I thought mine stopped working but as it turns out, my wife just turned the lights to the "off" position.

I am 99% sure that the sensor for this is inside the case behind the rearview mirror. Same case also holds the compass sensor.

I didn't think you were but if you spend more time around here, you will find that sometimes you have to ask the simplest questions to solve problems.
