Another power window problem
I have a 05 Screw that I am having a passenger window problem with. The cable on the motor/regulator broke about 6 months ago and I repalced it. The other day, I am driving on the interstate and go to put the front passenger window down using the drivers master switch which did nothing. I was able to put the front passenger window down using the passenger door window switch. After I got home, I went to put the window up with the drivers master switch and again nothing. I then go to the passenger door switch and nothing happens when putting the window up. I pull the door panel off (becoming a pro at that) and replaced the regulator (had access to a new one) and the window goes down but not up with either the drivers master or passenger door switch. I can hear the motor engage when putting the window down (it is all the way down at this point) but hear nothing when going up. I replaced the passenger front switch with the passenger back door window switch (which works fine on the back window) and again nothing moving up. Again, I can hear the motor pulling/clicking when putting the window down. I clean the contacts on the master switch and nothing. I replaced the drivers master switch (with one that I know is good) and again nothing up or down. No click or motor engagement, but the passenger continues to engage the motor going down but not up. So basically, the passenger switch will engage the motor down but not up and the master will not engage the the motor either up or down. The lights on the arrows of the switchs (Master and passenger) all light up with the headlights on (so I believe all the switches have power) New window regulator/motor, new master switch and replaced passenger front switch with working rear passenger switch and can't get window to go up. The window is presently held in the up position with tape and not secured to the track in the door. Any ideas before I get a rental and bring this POS to the stealership? I know it's a long post. But I have a feeling I missing something obvious here. Any help is appreciated.
