Default Alignment question(s)

Why is there a range for each side? (Caster and Camber)

Should the 2 sides be set to the same number?

What determines what setting the tech chooses within the range?

Has to do with road crown/stability and for safety, in the event of driver incapacitation the vehicle should drift a small amount to not go into opposing traffic lanes.
