Default Adding Coolant to a 2015 5.0

Please Help!
I can not believe Ford decided a radiator cap was not needed. I'm so pissed off at this BS.

I have a new to me 2015 5.0 F150. I'm nuts deep into a coolant flush/change but how in the hell do you get the system to except anything??? Sorry if I'm outta line but I did not expect all this trouble. Very upset with this unbelievable non-sense of no radiator cap.

I can not find a way to bleed the system at all. I've searched but nothing covers my 2015 v8. I have no de gas canister. This system will take about 2 gallons after messing with it for 4 hours. I pump the big hoses, run the motor & ref and even short drives. I can not get this ridiculous trk to except the 4 gallons I know it needs. I'm SO FRUSTRATED!

Can anyone help me with bleeding air from this coolant system? 2015 5.0L. No de gas canister & no radiator cap.

I loved Ford but have never hated Ford as much as I do tonight! My Ford is on it's knees tonight.Cant even fill it's coolant.

So you removed 4 gallons and it will only accept 2?
Does the radiator res. show full?

My 5.0 would only drain about 2 gal from just the radiator drain. When changing the water pump roughly another 2 gal came out.

Use a vacuum device to refill with coolant. Watch this vid for how its used.

No. I drained the radiator and it'll let about 1.5 gal out at most. No matter what I do.

I have no idea how to drain it all. I wish I could drain 4 gallons because this would still be a 2 hour job (if taking your time). I'm missing the ol days!

I will look into getting this. I still hate that it's needed.

If auto engineers are making a coolant drain this hard then I bet they are working on ways to make a diy oil change harder!
So very disgusted after being on a stay-cation to get things done. Thought it'd be a 1.5 hour job but still a job undone!

I've got 2 gallons of 50/50 in it after driving so in reality I have about a 25% mix.
I guess I'd just check after every drive and add.
I'd buy more antifreeze and just bleed off a few cups at a time till I get around a 50/50 mix.

I have no choice but to baby it now. Every drive a check for probably the next 3 months. Hope I can have it ready for winter! Just ridiculous.

There was a tsb in switching coolant. It was covered here on the site. The tsb gives a procedure maybe this will help.

Well I got the Haynes book for '15-'17 and it says there are two coolant plugs on the engine block back near the oil pan. Book shows a picture but I haven't been under to verify yet. Soon as I can get to town to get a couple more gallons and some thread sealant I'll see if I can get it done right.

I'll let you all know how it goes.
