I have F150 2013 XLT 5.0
when I switch 4x4 mode to (Lo) I get message that said (delayed - move forward)

but when I switch it from N to D to move forward the car does not move despite odometer calculates distance of moving!, as well as shows on the screen switching between 1, 2 and 3 etc.

I have to restart engine to get (LO) 4x4 mode.

please, advice

 

Try placing truck in neutral, place truck in 4Lo. Switch gear to reverse and back up a few feet. See if it will lock in.
