Hello all I have a 2016 F150 5.5 ft bed sport with 4x4 and 5.0 engine. I am getting the code B1496:14. I go to the Ford service manual, and it has me unplug the TRM module connector and the trailer backup assist **** connector for the pinpoint test. However when I opened up the trim panels I don't have the Trailer backup assist **** connector on the harness and I don't even have the **** on the outside of the panel. So now I am unsure how to proceed with the testing to fix this issue. Every time I go into reverse I get the parking aid disabled message on the instrument panel.
Hopefully one of you guys are smarter than me here haha
I look forward to the help. I have searched the forum and the web and cant find really anything about it other than one post that did not relate.

Did it work before? How long have you had the truck?

I've had the truck for a year now, when I first got it there was not an issue just started randomly. Just the codes it has are kinda confusing since it dosent match up with the truck options.
