2015 F150 4WD 3.5L ecoboost V6 grinding rattle during acceleration cold start
Please Help!
<iframe width="793" height="478" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/t8I1GZIclVo" frameborder="0" gesture="media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Only happens after cold start with temps less than 50 F and typically occurs within less than 10 mins driving. Noise only happens when accelerating; when let of accelerator goes away and after about 45 -60 seconds of pressing accelerator repeatedly it goes away for remainder of drive. Doesn't always happen with every start, seems that if I let engine run for 20 mins prior to driving it never occurs.
Thanks

Does grinding go away when you engage 4X4?

You can go here, //www.f150forum.com/f2/gen-ii-3-5-egoboost-vac-pump-397377/
or here, http://www.f150forum.com/f12/2017-f-...-noise-385482/
Hopefully something there can help you.
On my thread about the vacuum pump, read the WHOLE thing. And on the link to Amazon, never mind they say it isn't for a '17, I'm telling you it is.

Be careful when letting a vehicle warm up for long periods of time. You get fuel dilution problems in your engine oil under long idle times. The purpose of warming up is to let the engine warm up is everyone's reason. When you drive, your engine and the fluids are warming up.
