looking at buying a 2004 4.6l 2wd extcab. Only problem I see with it is the tranny won’t shift with OD on. If you leave the OD on,, it won’t shift from 1st to 2nd or any other gear. If the OD is off the tranny will shift fine. With OD on, when the tranny attempts to shift, it sounds like it shifts into neutral. Engine revs like no load. Any ideas

btw new here. I have a 2009 crew 4wd so I’ll be here awhile.....

 

Common problem and easy fix.. OD servo clip is broken. Read up on this.
