Hello everyone. I got a couple of questions. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

1. Does anyone know where I can get a Gift card (reduced, of course) for Ford that I can use on service?

2. I have a 2010 F-150 Platinum with automatic, retracting side steps that occasionally get stuck and go back down when they shouldn't. Does anyone know how to fix this without having to go to the dealership?

3. I am having one last problem which is that the climate control switch that adjusts the fan level of heat/cool air on my center console is stuck at one setting. I took it to a local mechanic and they said I would have to take it to a dealership, but I am hoping I will not have to do that seeing that it will probably cost more than it should.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Try AAA for the card. 2. the steps need dry lubrication (graphite spray) and may have a possible issue with your door switch. 3. unless you have a good A/C shop in town go to the dealer to fix this. It's easy to jack it up if you don't know what you're doing
