the computer. at work we ended up changing it because it got wet sumhow.

yes because we tried everything... new o2 sensors, coil packs plugs alll the filters 93 octane and alot of additives.. finaly replaced the computer....

where did you get it-at a junk yard-and how much--did they have to program it or anything?

One of the main reasons for ping is carbon build-up on the plugs and walls of the cylinders. The carbon deposits heat up enough to ignite the fuel air mixture before the plug fires.
