Default 10r80 filter question

I'm planning to drop the tranny pan and change filter and oil for the first time in my new-to-me 2020 3.5L EB w/ 10 spd.

I ordered a HL3Z-7A098-A filter because I wanted a factory part. Although it looks just like what I should get, there are a couple places on the actual filter that have a 'HL3P-7G186-CA'. Will this filter work?

was the filter sealed in cellophane inside the box? Hard to tell if it looks like my filter from my 2018 screw xlt 3.5 with this photo.

I changed mine a while back, I thought it was sealed in a plastic bag, but maybe I am mistaken.

I think I have photos of my old filter on my cell phone, but I forgot it at work when I came home tonight.

Not even sure if its the same filter, but I wouldn't think anything would change with the same 10R80 transmission.

I don't really remember it looking so thick, but this is a close up photo.

Have you tried reverse searching all the numbers on the filter with a Ford dealer parts service site to see if it matches up with your model of truck?

Came in small bubble wrap, but don't think it was sealed.
Didn't think of reverse searching. Good idea. I'll try that tomorrow.

Thanks.

Old dismantled filter from my 2018 10r80 3.5 ecoboost.

You can see some part numbers on the one photo.

Thanks. That looks like what I got. The numbers match too.

Out of curiosity, how long was that one in?

Thanks again,

FWIW that HL3P # is the eng. / ID number, they dont match to what the service part # is

Thanks again,
I changed it at 137,040 kilometers, which is just over 85,000 miles. I sent an oil analysis away at 98244, & they had flagged Aluminum & copper at Upper Reportable levels.
I don't use it much for pulling or towing any large or heavy loads.

I drove about another 40,000 kilometers changed it, keeping a sample that I pulled from the pan prior to dumping it. Then I topped it off, ran it around the block and pulled some more fluid out, & refilled. I think I got about an 80% oil change. I used about 12 or 14 bottles I think.

Made sure to check the level multiple times to be sure it was where it was supposed to be.

I was surprised the bottom of the pan was clean. Any other ATF fluid change I had done had a metal pan covered with fine metallic shavings / dust.
The filter quality is much better than any other vehicle I have changed before

Second this. Just ordered this filter cause Ford told me the initial part number. My filter has the same number on it. Any word on how it went and if any issues?
