I got 200K mi out of my 05 King Ranch before I had replace the timing chain guides. I did it myself last year using YouTube vids from FordTechMakuloco. That guy's vids are great and I'd highly suggest to anyone with an F150 to watch them! Anyway, now I'm at 220Kmi and the tranny's gone. I can't decide whether to have it rebuilt or buy a reman. Either way the warranty is the same.
Long story short, I'm getting conflicting info about the tranny type...whether it's a 4R75W or 4R75E. IKR!!! Does anyone out there know how to tell?

If you did the timing chain and you have a mechanical aptitude, check out transmissionbench.com. The guy really makes it foolproof.
