Hello,

i need help trying to figure out what’s going on with my AC system in my 2011 Ford F-150 Lariat. The AC compressor will turn on but no heat or air will blow through the vents. I changed the blend Door and I also changed the fuses. I noticed a plastic smell coming through the vents when it did turn on and then it stopped all together.

 

does the blower only work on high? Can you hear the blower but no air? possibly a blower motor resistor, or blower motor bad.

 

Yes when the ac and heat did work it only went on high and now that makes sense.
