Default Simple cheap mod

My truck is black with chrome, I always liked the fx4 f150 badges with red lettering, but they came with black outline, so I tried this, what do you think?

One way, I think the best, is to remove the badge from the fender/tailgate, scrap off all the double stick tape, and press the black part out off the chrome piece. Paint away, then reinstall with 3M double stick tape. Get the heavy duty kind made for badges/emblems/logos. Blowes and Home Despot both sell it. It's the one with the red backing. When you go to reapply, clean the area with alcahol, then take a heat gun or hairdryer to the area where the badge goes, and heat it up a little, then while still warm, stick it on, and press firmly for a few seconds. The heat seems to help adhere the tape to the car paint.

Mine is a sticker that just covers the black.
