Door panel Hydro Dipping
#41
Great job. I'd like to actually hydrodip a bunch of interior and dash pieces in my '15 Screw, but never done it myself before. I'm not keen on the brushed aluminum style, want to go matte black or some other funky scheme, but don't want to mess with a permanent paint thing.
Is there a thread anywhere that shows how to remove lots of the interior paneling?

I recommend grabbing a trim removal tool kit from Harbor freight, Cheap and comes in handy.

Have ya'll done this in your bathtub? I ain't paying a pro to do it. More than happy to try myself, but the YT vids I watch they use these gigantic water tanks....

Depends on the size of the part you are dipping. I bought a larger rubbermaid bin to do it in. largest part I dipped was about 14" long and 8" wide.
